Trans Frontier Shipment Manager

DescriptionWe at Work Lyf group are recruiting a TFS Manager to Lead, develop and strengthen the TFS team
To maximise the performance of individuals thorough communication; motivation and development on a day-to-day basis, as well as coordinating regular performance reviews to enhance performance and set clear objectives for achievements
Working with the HR and Training team to ensure low staff turnover
Develop employees through on the job challenges / training, feedback and coaching, formal training courses
Maintain and keep up to date basic personnel and training records of each colleague on site.
Duties:
Support and contribute the company’s overall objectives and aims, in line with the role holders experience, and competence
Support and contribute to all aspects of “good” safety and health, daily awareness of safety issues and wellbeing awareness
Fully responsible for your own and others’ health and safety
Ensure all incidents, observations and concerns are reported through an escalation process; solutions are identified and actions, in line with Company policy
Ensure ideas for the improvement of safety are listened to and acted upon, involving the Health and Safety representatives and HR Management if necessary
Compliance with emissions goals when driving company vehicles or otherwise driving on company business, do so in an economical manner i.e
choosing the shortest route to a destination where possible, ensuring that vehicles are properly maintained, driving in a non-aggressive manner and always within the speed limit.
Experience required:
Counterbalance FLT license
Excavator License
Experience in Working in the Waste Sector.
Management experience.
SAP experience is desirable.
Competent Microsoft Office user, in particular Excel

Able to drive team performance and improve functional knowledge of the team through coaching and sharing knowledge/skills and experiences.
