✓Saffron Walden, Essex
✓Due to expansion my client based in Saffron Walden is seeking a 1st Line IT Support person to join their in house support team
✓You will be dealing with front line enquiries via email, telephone, live chat and a ticketing system.
✓We are seeking candidates who have excellent communication skills and who are able to work well under pressure.
✓If you have a strong knowledge of PC hardware, the Windows platform and application support please read on!
✓Start: ASAP
✓Duration: Permanent
✓Hours: Monday- Friday, weekly rotational shift patterns of the following:
✓8:00am – 4:30pm
✓9:00am – 5:30pm
✓3:30pm- 12:00am
✓Benefits: 20 days holiday + Bank holidays, Pension, Company bonus Scheme, Employee perks and discount scheme, paid leave between Christmas and New Year, Free parking.
✓Duties to include:
✓* Act as a 1st line IT Support person for all incoming support enquiries
✓* Troubleshoot the basic areas of the companies platform
✓* Work with customers on Live Chat, Email, Phone and Ticketing services to ensure they are given the best level of services possible
✓* Handle all incoming enquiries, ensuring they are communicated with other teams if required
✓* Ensure all issues, requests and tasks are logged and communicated with other teams
✓* Escalate issues to the 2nd line and Technical Pre-Sales Team as necessary
✓* Assist with the replication of issues as necessary
✓* Deliver handovers between the global 1st line Technical Support Team
✓Skills/Experience required:
✓* A confident, friendly and self-motivated individual with customer-first attitude to build relationships and win business
✓* A strong knowledge of PC Hardware, the Windows platform and application support.
✓* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
✓* The ability to retain information and an appetite to learn
✓* Strong customer service skilks.
