Assembly Operative
Description✓We are looking for Assembly Operatives for a company based in the outskirts of Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk
✓Ideally you will have previous mechanical assembly experience, as this is a core aspect of the role
✓Though training can be provided if you have some basic mechanical / production experience and would be happy working in an assembly-based role
✓With a starting salary of £11ph+ & overtime regularly available, all at time & half
✓The company are based in the outskirts of Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk with no public transport links
✓You would need your own form of transport to get there
✓Assembler duties include: -
✓Assembly of mechanical & electrical components
✓Strip down, repair, service & overhaul of products
✓Reading & working from engineering drawings independently
✓Carrying out regular inspection work to check for any defects
✓Testing of products
✓Keep a clean & tidy workstation
✓You must be proficient with various hand & power tools & have previous experience in a similar workshop capacity if you wish to be considered
✓Ideally having worked in a similar production / assembly fitting role
✓Hours: 08:00-17:00, Monday-Friday
