Description✓Role – Procurement Buyer
✓Salary - £30,000 - £35,000
✓Type – Permanent

✓My client are a Manufacturing company with global operations, they provide utility solutions to homes around the globe
✓They are looking for a Procurement Buyer to be accountable for all aspects of purchasing, ranging from the sourcing of new suppliers and contract negotiation.
✓Responsibilities –
✓Work collaboratively with the manufacturing management team ensuring stock availability to allow production to be optimised.
✓This position reports to the Procurement Manager.
✓Identify new Suppliers to support the production of the products and stock.
✓Manage strategic suppliers in support of the Purchasing strategy.
✓Benchmark existing supply chain for competitiveness and implement cost down / cost elimination activities.
✓Place Purchase Orders ensuring a high level of accuracy and adherence to contract terms.
✓Lead or support in supplier negotiations.
✓Identify cost saving opportunities.
✓Requirements –
✓We’re looking for a candidate with experience in Supply Chain/Purchasing role.
✓Ideally supported by procurement qualifications.
✓Excellent interpersonal and proven negotiation skills
✓Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to balance immediate and long-term priorities.
✓Excellent teamwork skills with an ability to multitask.
✓Good verbal and written communication skills.
✓Positive and professional manner.
