✓Square Peg Associates are working with an International Manufacturing business who are looking for a Design engineer to come on board to help the design department in leading new and existing projects.
✓The role is varied and would include:
✓* Supervising, leading and managing a productive Design team
✓* Producing and modifying all manufacturing drawings using Autocad/Inventor
✓* Developing new components to enable greater diversity of products
✓* Reviewing current parts and processes to reduce cost, waste, manufacture time and materials from suppliers
✓* Take ownership and progress workloads to tight schedule and deadlines
✓* Liaising with other departments on projects
✓* Using CAD and analysis tools for drawing, models and analysis
✓* All aspects of product design and development
✓We are looking for someone with experience in a similar role, who has had exposure to AQPD tools and well as a strong communicator and leader to move projects forward as well as-
✓* Bachelors degree or equivalent in mechanical engineering
✓* Good technical expertise in mechanical design
✓* Creativity and innovative thinking
✓* Good interpersonal skills
✓* Experience in leading a team
✓* Used Inventor and AutoCad
