Despatch Section Manager
Description✓Are you an experienced Despatch Section Manager with advanced experience in people management and development? Do you thrive working in a fast-paced manufacturing operation? Jonathan Lee Recruitment is looking for a highly competent Section Manager to join a Logistics team based at a manufacturing plant in Telford
✓This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an ever-growing advanced site, to help lead and motivate a skilled and diverse team and be an integral part of the company supply chain as we grow and develop
✓This is a full-time role where you will earn up to £39,000.
✓As a Section Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of despatch departments, ensuring colleagues are operating effectively, efficiently and safely at all times
✓Your working hours are Monday - Friday, 22:00 - 07:00 and Tuesday - Saturday 10:00 - 19:00.
✓In your first few weeks in this Despatch Section Manager role, you can expect to:
✓Be responsible for the management and development of Team Leaders and colleagues within despatch
✓Ensure all food safety, health & safety and quality standards are met during the despatch process
✓Monitor and deliver on inbound and outbound loading schedules for raw materials and finished products
✓Ensure weekly scanned stock takes, and regular stock rotation are performed
✓Work closely with the internal trainer ensuring MHE and Driver training, development and assessments are identified and completed.

✓You will also require the following:
✓Good IT skills with the ability to learn new systems
✓Invar/Genesis WMS is highly advantageous

✓Proven people management skills in a diverse and demanding environment
✓Excellent communication skills.
