Electrical Test Engineer
Description✓Job: Electrical Final Test Engineer
✓Salary: £19ph - £23ph
✓Location: Cambourne
✓Hours: Late Shift - 13.45pm - 21.30pm
✓First 8 - 12 weeks you will be training on the day shift 08:00am - 16:00pm
✓Proactive are currently recruiting for multiple Final Test Engineers for a client of ours based in Cambourne
✓This is an exciting opportunity working for a world leading manufacturer of high precision equipment & machinery
✓You will be required to test products in accordance with procedures ensuring that agreed deadlines and targets are met.
✓This is for an initial 12 month contract with the view to go permanent after probation.
✓Responsibilities Include:
✓Assembly, sub-assembly and testing
✓Troubleshoot malfunctions
✓Experience of assembling and/or testing precision instrumentation
✓Maintenance of test equipment under your care
✓Participate in Lean activities as required
✓Drive continuous improvement, identify waste in test processes
✓Maintain processes and procedures consistent with ISO standards.Requirements:
✓GCSE or equivalent in Mathematics and English
✓Qualification in Electronics or Mechatronics
✓Time served apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3, BTEC Level 3 or 4-year apprenticeship
✓Experience using Microsoft Windows
✓Working in an electromechanical test environment
✓Understand and follow test specifications and standard operating procedures
✓Experience of fault-finding on electronic or electromechanical systems
✓Proven ability to utilise user interface software to test, calibrate and operate complex electromechanical systems
