Fabricator
Description✓Role: Fabricator / Plater
✓Location: Wednesbury
✓Hours of work: 07:30 – 16:00 Monday – Friday
✓Pay Rate: £12.00 - £15.00 Per hour
✓Mainstay Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Fabricator on behalf of a leading design & manufacturing business that specialise in the production and installation of Furnaces, Kilns, Ovens etc
✓As a Fabricator, you will be responsible for reading from engineering drawings and operating various machinery to fabricate furnaces
✓Duties of the role
✓* Working from detailed drawings.
✓* Working with Mild Steel and Stainless Steel
✓* Sheet Metal Fabrication will include “tack welding” but it would be advantageous to be able to MIG weld to a good standard.
✓* Operating various types of machinery such as Guillotine, Brake press, Overhead Crane
✓* Examine work pieces for defects
✓* Ensure all assigned work is understood prior to commencing.
✓* Complete housekeeping duties in assigned area or project area on a daily basis and/or when required.
✓* Complete assigned work within given timeframe and according to specifications.
✓* Complete required paperwork
✓* Perform other job responsibilities as assigned.
✓Candidate Requirements:
✓* Experience in MIG Welding
✓* Must be able to read and interpret drawings, welding process specifications and welding symbols.
✓* Ability and willingness to follow directions as well as the ability to work independently.
