Fibreglass Laminator
Description✓Contract Personnel are currently recruiting for a Fibreglass Laminator to join their team in Long Stratton,
✓Our client are a leader within their field, due to continued growth, they are looking to add Fibreglass Laminators to join their team
✓As Fibreglass Laminator you will be required to work within a warehouse environment with a small team of experienced professionals,
✓your responsibility’s would be:
✓Understanding and working from lay-up drawings, use laminating skills to carry out the required workload to the lay-up specification.
✓Applying lacquers and waxes to mould surfaces to facilitate assembly and removal of laminated parts
✓You would apply layers of gel to mould surfaces prior to placement of fibreglass mat, repeating layers until products have the desired thickness.
✓Check completed products for conformance to specifications and for defects, cure materials by letting them set at room temperature, and inspect, clean and assemble moulds before beginning work.
✓You would also mask off mould areas which are not to be laminated, using cellophane, wax paper, masking tape, or special sprays containing mould-releasing substances.
