Health & Safety Manager
Description✓This role as Health & Safety Manager is working with a Globally Leading Manufacturer of Hygiene products based on their busy site based in Derbyshire
✓As Health & Safety Manager you will be Responsible for developing and improving the Manufacturing processes with respect to both H&S and Environmental impact
✓This is an interim position expected to run for 6 Months, and is offering up to £50,000 pa

✓To be successful when applying to this role as Health & Safety Manager it is essential that you have experience working in a similar role within a Manufacturing Environment, preferably a Chemical or High Hazard industry however this is not essential
✓To be qualified in either NEBOSH/IOSH is essential when applying to this position as Health & Safety Manager.
✓Accountabilities of the Health & Safety Manager:
✓HSE Arrangements - Ensuring that these are planned for efficiency, documented with agreed responsibilities, and implemented
✓HSE Compliance - Ensuring processes and activities required by applicable legislation and to ISO 14001 & 45001.
✓Risk Assessment - Ensuring the processes and activities to identify and assess hazards are subject to review.
✓Leading and/or supporting teams with incident investigation, ensuring reliable root causes are identified and appropriate actions are taken.
✓Ensuring CAPAs are raised when appropriate and correctly assigned to individuals for investigation and actions are recorded/completed with due dates.
✓EHS Liaison - Communication and liaison with various internal and external HSE stakeholders
✓Internal audits - planning, conducting, recording main findings, follow up on actions.
