Human Resource Administrator

DescriptionAs a member of the HR Department, you will provide comprehensive and professional HR support and advice whilst assisting in the application of company policies and procedures, with a focus on recruitment and selection, disciplinary and grievance, absence management and administration of the full employee lifecycle.
Main responsibilities include:
* Assisting the HR Manager, Managers, Supervisors and Team Leaders and proactively apply company policies and procedures across the site
* Being the first point of contact for all HR related queries either face to face, over the telephone or via email
* Manage the recruitment and selection process, including drafting job descriptions, person specifications and adverts, issuing offer letters and contracts of employment.
* Conduct investigations and assist with disciplinary and grievance cases minute taking
* Support the Payroll Advisor with temporary timesheet administration and updating of Add Time System.
* Ownership of all employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives such as employee of the month
* Liaising and building relationships with external stakeholders such as recruitment agencies and occupational health referrals
Person specification:
* Experience of working within a fast paced HR department, ideally within a manufacturing environment
* A CIPD qualification is desirable although not essential
* Fully proficient in the Microsoft suite
* Excellent communication skills
* Excellent attention to detail and organisation skills
