Inspection Operative
Description✓The Recruitment Group is looking for an Warehouse Operator to join our Client in Clitheroe
✓The role of Warehouse Operator is a long-term role and is paying £10.42 per hour and 37.5 hours per week.
✓Pay for the Warehouse Operator
✓£10.42 per hour
✓Shifts:
✓06:00 to 14:00 / 13:45 21:45 – Monday to Friday [rotating shifts]
✓Location:
✓* Clitheroe
✓Overview:
✓* Inspect cans or components for defects
✓* To assembly small components to form valves using automated production equipment within the valve assembly department
✓* Manufacture and maintain presses and the wash bay and degreasing
✓* Processes to ensure that production targets are met whilst ensuring that quality is built into the manufacturing process.
✓* On-the-job training will be provided however a good work ethic specifically relating to safety and quality are essential.
✓* The Operator role will be predominately based in CMF however duties may include supporting the valve assembly department when required.
✓Key Responsibilities:
✓* Ensure all production targets are met by the machine running at optimum performance whilst working to GMP standards
✓* Provide cover for colleagues who have to leave their machines whilst still in operation e.g
✓break times.
✓* Ensure batch components match planned work orders
✓* Carry out safety checks and maintain a high standard of safety and housekeeping e.g
✓clean floors, changing rooms, boxes in correct locations, machine cleanliness, Personal Protective Equipment [PPE] e.g
✓safety glasses shoes, etc.
✓* Complete all appropriate paperwork including the process logbook and product identification labels.
✓* Verbally brief colleagues when a machine is handed over, including schedule, problems with the machine, QC checks underway, etc.
✓* Work with and support trainees and colleagues in other departments
✓* Liaise with Team Leader, Shift Leader, and Quality in solving batch and/or valve problems
✓* Adhere to site regulations working safely and complying with all company safe working practices and procedures.
✓Experience
✓* Previous experience working in a pharmaceutical environment Practical mechanical aptitude - Essential
✓Knowledge
✓* Knowledge of all machines in assigned areas including basic operational knowledge, fault finding, and understanding the various ‘quirks’ of individual machines
✓Desirable
✓* Knowledge of internal and external customer requirements
✓Desirable
✓* Understanding of GMP guidelines and practices Essential
✓Key Capabilities
✓* Good communicator at all levels Essential
✓* Ability to work to deadlines Essential
✓* Good problem-solving skills Essential
