Machine Operator
Description✓Acorn by Synergie is working in partnership with Branston in Ilminster, and have opportunities for a Machine Operative to work on full time permanent basis starting as soon as possible.
✓Hours:
✓* Shift A [Alternating weeks]- 4 day week, 3 day week
✓* Week 1 - Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 7am to 6:30pm/ Week 2 - Sunday, Monday, Tuesday 7am to finish
✓* Shift B [Alternating weeks]- 4 day week, 3 day week
✓* Week 1 - Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday 7am - 6:30pm/ Week 2 - Thursday, Friday, Saturday 7am to 6:30pm
✓Pay: £11.66 a hour
✓The role will involve following responsibilities:
✓* You'll be responsible for the day to day running of packing lines at a production plant
✓* Ensuring the smooth running of machinery whilst meeting production targets and adhering to safety, hygiene and quality systems
✓* You'll work as part of a highly motivated team, ensuring best practices are communicated and adopted across all shifts, providing training for new and/or current employees, with continuous improvement at the core of all activities undertaken
✓* You'll also be required to lead product changeovers, ensuring the whole team works together and achieves set targets, reporting to the team leader if members of the team are not performing to the required standard
