Maintenance Engineer
Description✓Job Overview: Working with our client, a leading manufacturer of injection moulded components, we are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer join their growing team.
✓Remit:
✓* The role of Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer is to provide technical support to all areas on a daily basis across both electrical and mechanical disciplines.
✓* Successful candidates will have electrical and mechanical maintenance experience from within a manufacturing / engineering environment.

✓Role:
✓* Maintain plant machinery to ensure safe, continual and efficient operations.
✓* Ensuring that periodic and preventive maintenance are appropriately scheduled and accomplished and that troubleshooting and maintenance support are readily available as needed.
✓* Managing maintenance goal setting, activity scheduling and work allocation to ensure measurable goals, proper workload distribution, goal satisfaction and effective staff management.
✓* Update records of work activities, tasks carried out, parts used through stores and training given
✓* Work closely with manufacturers, suppliers and internal departments in finding ways to improve process and increase machine reliability and performance
✓Experience:
✓* Apprenticeship / industry recognised qualifications
✓* Experience in mechanical / electrical maintenance in a manufacturing / engineering environment
✓* Knowledge of plant operation principles, methods and processes
✓* Ability to handle day-to-day and strategic issues, based around operational requirements and the management of a manufacturing facility.
✓* Demonstrable analytical skills with sound problem solving ability
