Description✓Job Role: Manufacturing Engineer
✓Location: Leeds
✓Shift: Days Only
✓Salary: £30 - £45,000 [D.O.E]
✓Metalis are proud to be working once again with a national heavy engineering business who specialises in safety critical components
✓We are sourcing for 2 Manufacturing Engineers to drive innovation, process improvement and machining capability.
✓This a Monday - Friday role and will be seen as a position with great opportunity to develop into a senior leadership role.
✓Duties:
✓Use of EdgeCAM to write programmes for existing and new components.
✓Reviewing current processes to spot opportunities for growth.
✓Creation of drawings to aid in fixture development.
✓Setting up meetings for training, development and delivering key messages.
✓Supervising new machining processes and answering queries.
✓Use of hand calculations, use of Automation software.
✓Work cross functional with other heads of department such as purchasing, sales, H&S.
✓Representing the business on customer visits.Job Requirements:
✓Detailed knowledge of EdgeCAM and its capability.
✓Commercial awareness
✓Presenting abilities and a strong communicator
✓Knowledge of Steel Grades, Sheet Metal and CastingsWe are looking to speak with Manufacturing Engineers, Production Engineers, CI Engineers, Continuous Improvement Engineers, NPI Engineers
