Production Operative
Description✓Production operatives needed! Immediate start with progression available in Bury St Edmunds!
✓This is a perfect opportunity for someone who has worked in small scale assembly or soldered before
✓You will be learning basic mechanical & electrical assembly skills from day one!
✓The starting pay for this role is £10.50ph however, there is a pay review after the 3 month probation period!
✓The company is a specialist in the manufacture of high-end electrical equipment for various industries worldwide
✓All staff must have a high attention for detail as you will be working with electronic parts & components.
✓Duties include [but are not limited to]:
✓Detailed soldering, measuring to length, cutting, and stripping cable, assembly of small components etc
✓Follow very basic wiring diagram
✓Align and glue components
✓Follow detailed inspection procedure: Air bubbles, marks, inclusions, cracks, dents, scratches, using height gauges, cleanliness, electrical insulation & continuity
✓Flexible approach to work to meet customer demands.
✓The ideal candidate for this role will come from a background of small component assembly, soldering or have wiring experience.
✓Flexi hours are 07:30 - 16:00 or 9:00 - 17:30, Monday-Friday [40 hours per week].
