✓First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Production Planner on behalf of one of our clients.
✓Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.
✓Duties and Responsibilities:
✓Responsible for the day-to-day management of Capacity & Planning and supply chain orders, specifically paper inputs, pallets and other production consumables using SAP.
✓Develop, implement and manage a system to ensure planning and capacity at the site are utilized / balanced in the most effective way possible including the capture of best practice of OMP.
✓Ensure sales orders fit into available production hours, which should be measured in hours utilizing OMP.
✓Develop strong customer service relations re supply chain issues.
✓Responsible for agreeing sub-contract partners and manage bought in board.
✓Suggest changes to agreed stock management based on order trends.
✓Ensure work orders are scheduled to optimize and balance production output, waste and customer service.
✓Skills and Qualifications:
✓Demonstrate an understanding of both the business and sales strategies.
✓Demonstrate an understanding of customer insights and needs within a complex manufacturing supply chain.
✓Use successful problem solving techniques to ensure root cause problem solving.
✓Drive continuous improvements and standardise processes and procedures where possible.
✓Be resilient and able to cope under pressure to react to frequently changing situations.
