Production Shift Leader
Description✓Production Shift Leader – Permanent
✓Up to £35,000 per annum DOE + 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
✓Monday – Thursday 8am – 4.30pm and Friday 2.30pm finish
✓We are delighted to be recruiting experienced Shift Leaders to join an exciting, multi-national manufacturing company who are currently enjoying a sustained period of growth!
✓In this varied role, you will lead and manage a designated Production team across two alternating shifts.
✓Shift Leader Responsibilities:
✓* Manage a team of Production Operatives in a “lead by example” management style whilst ensuring that production KPI’s and targets are achieved whilst maintaining quality and adhering to H&S policies.
✓* Provide regular reports to the Operations Manager and contribute to continuous improvement methods.
✓* Develop and support staff through regular coaching, training and feedback
✓Take part in recruiting and retaining teams.
✓* Ensure that area is kept clean and tidy in-line with 5S method of working, look at waste management levels and work with Operations to maximise efficiency both on productivity and cost.
✓About You:
✓* Previous experience in managing/leading a production team.
✓* Motivated, personable and a good communicator.
✓* Manufacturing experience is essential.
