Shifts: Monday to Friday - 37.5 hours per week
The Role
The role of the Project Coordinator is to work with the Sales Managers in winning business and developing customers and prospects within a given sales territory
The PC is responsible for initial technical evaluation of incoming enquiries, provision and quotation of tailored solutions, price negotiation and closing sales opportunities
The PC shall be responsible walking the project through production with in-house teams, while providing the highest levels of customer service
Regular contact by phone and email with customers and Sales Managers is a fundamental part of the PC's role.
Roles and responsibilities
Dealing with incoming sales calls.
Preparing customer quotations.
Negotiating prices with customers.
Closing sales opportunities.
Confirming payment terms prior to order acceptance according to Paragon guidelines.
Completing production documentation packs including route sheets and supporting documentation.
Generating and managing timing plans where applicable.
Being in regular contact with customers and Sales Managers.
Achieving commercial targets with the Sales Managers.
Developing relationships with customers by phone, email and through face-to-face meetings.
Hosting customer visits.
Reporting into other areas of the business on the daily and weekly activities.
Skill and experience
Good communication and commercial awareness skills are essential.
Negotiation skills.
Ability to achieve commercial targets.
Enjoys speaking with customers and building long term relationships by phone and face to face through visits.
Enjoys working closely with members of the Sales team.
Understanding of production planning and scheduling of fluctuating workloads.
Good administrative skills and an eye for detail.
Strong technical appreciation of prototyping methods, materials, benefits, and limitations.
Positive attitude and a willingness to continuously improve.
Good IT skills including use of social media etc.
Happy to work extra hours to get the job done.
