✓Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Project Engineer to be responsible for overseeing and coordinating engineering projects to ensure the successful implementation of new manufacturing processes and equipment
✓The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background, project management expertise, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively
✓As a Project Engineer will work closely with various departments, including production, quality assurance, and maintenance, to drive operational efficiency, improve processes, and deliver projects within defined timelines and budgets.
✓Duties include:
✓Lead and manage engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
✓Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scopes, objectives, and deliverables.
✓Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and cost estimates.
✓Coordinate and communicate with external vendors, contractors, and consultants to ensure project requirements are met.
✓Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to identify potential project challenges and develop mitigation strategies.
✓Monitor and track project progress, identifying and resolving issues promptly.
✓Lead and motivate project teams, providing guidance and support to ensure effective collaboration and achievement of project goals.
✓Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies throughout project execution.
✓Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to optimize existing manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
✓Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in project management and engineering.
✓Any other duties required.
✓The successful candidate will have / be:
✓Educated to degree level in Engineering or a related field.
✓Proven experience as a Project Engineer or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
✓Experience working hands on with AutoCAD.
✓Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
✓Proficiency in project management software and tools.
✓Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and automation.
✓Excellent leadership and team management skills.
✓Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
✓Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
✓Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
✓Familiarity with relevant regulatory standards and guidelines.
