Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Project Engineer to be responsible for overseeing and coordinating engineering projects to ensure the successful implementation of new manufacturing processes and equipment
The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background, project management expertise, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively
As a Project Engineer will work closely with various departments, including production, quality assurance, and maintenance, to drive operational efficiency, improve processes, and deliver projects within defined timelines and budgets.
Duties include:
Lead and manage engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scopes, objectives, and deliverables.

Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and cost estimates.

Coordinate and communicate with external vendors, contractors, and consultants to ensure project requirements are met.

Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to identify potential project challenges and develop mitigation strategies.

Monitor and track project progress, identifying and resolving issues promptly.

Lead and motivate project teams, providing guidance and support to ensure effective collaboration and achievement of project goals.

Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies throughout project execution.

Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to optimize existing manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for improvement.

Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in project management and engineering.

Any other duties required.
The successful candidate will have / be:
Educated to degree level in Engineering or a related field.

Proven experience as a Project Engineer or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.

Experience working hands on with AutoCAD.

Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.

Proficiency in project management software and tools.

Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and automation.

Excellent leadership and team management skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Familiarity with relevant regulatory standards and guidelines.
