Project Manager

DescriptionA forward-thinking business that offer a number of employee benefits including part-time / flexi hours if required, are seeking a dynamic, organised Project Manager to lead their medical device manufacturing scale-up
Reporting to the Technical Director, you will be responsible for managing the integration of a complex biomedical device into the manufacturing facility.
As a Project Manager, your duties will include -
Project managing the entire process of a multi-million-pound project [mould tooling, tooling validation, supply chain etc.], with a focus on quality and regulatory compliance whilst maintaining documentation
Working alongside the quality team, you will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for medical devices - ISO 13485
Ensuring seamless operation, developing and managing the supply chain, including supplier qualification and approval
Acting as a primary point of contact for a high value customer, managing relationships with them, suppliers and internal stakeholders
Managing project risks and resolving technical issues during the integration process
Conducting training sessions for clinical staff on medical device usage and integration
Creating and maintaining controlled documentation such as Process Flows, Process and Tool drawings, Process Routings, Bills of Materials, Work and Inspection Instructions, Purchase Specifications
We are keen to speak to anyone with -
An Engineering background, with a strong technical understanding of product development in manufacturing
An understanding of Injection Moulding and Product Assembly, including verification and validation
Excellent organisational skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skillsThis role is particularly suited to an apprentice trained injection mould Toolmaker who has developed in to project management.
On offer -
A salary of £40,000 - £60,000 DoE
Hours: Current staff generally work 8am - 5pm Monday - Thursday, 8am - 1pm Friday, HOWEVER, part-time / flexi hours could be considered for the right applicant, they are happy to offer hours around childcare for example
