Position: Project Manager
Location: Northwest England
Job Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage multiple projects within the building product manufacturing sector from inception to completion.
* Develop and implement project strategies, objectives, and timelines to ensure successful project delivery.
* Oversee project budgets, ensuring cost-effective practices and resource allocation.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, engineering, production, and procurement to ensure seamless project execution.
* Conduct regular project status meetings, communicate progress to stakeholders, and provide timely updates on project milestones.
* Identify and mitigate risks, troubleshoot project issues, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
* Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the project management team.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure project success and customer satisfaction.
* Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to building product manufacturing.
Qualifications and Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
A master's degree is preferred.
* Proven experience as a Project Manager or similar leadership role within the building product manufacturing sector.
* In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
* Strong financial acumen and ability to manage project budgets effectively.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels.
* Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams, driving them towards project objectives and deliverables.
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing priorities.
* Proactive and results-driven approach, with a focus on delivering projects on time and within budget.
* Familiarity with relevant regulations, quality standards, and industry certifications.
* Flexibility to travel to project sites as required.
