Supplier Quality Engineer

✓Be a key member of new product development project teams, coordinating with the design engineers and Suppliers on new parts and assemblies to ensure adherence to project timescales and targets.
✓2
✓Ensure Suppliers are using the latest Quality tools and techniques to confirm parts are delivered are right the first time, all the time.
✓3
✓Certify that the chosen Suppliers have the competence to produce the parts to the agreed specifications and drawings for the lifetime of products.
✓4
✓Confirm Suppliers carry out the acceptance processes [APQP, PPAP, FAI] to the agreed standards.
✓5
✓Perform Quality Audits on new and existing Suppliers.
✓6
✓Liaise with the Purchasing and SQA team to ensure smooth handover of parts and material to serial production.

✓Regular use of APQP and PPAP would be desirable.
