Description✓Machinist - Workshop Technician - Turner
✓Summary
✓To work as a skilled Turner within the workshop facility to manufacture and repair component parts for equipment such as pumps, compressors, steam turbines and gearboxes.
✓General Duties
✓* Operate Conventional and XYZ Protrak Lathe
✓* Liaise with Inspection and Engineering
✓* Loading / Unloading and movement or equipment and materials in the workshops
✓* General workshop duties
✓Responsibilities
✓* Carry out machining operations to work scopes, engineering drawings and appropriate specifications
✓* Expected to work to close tolerances
✓* Ensure high standards of workmanship at all times
✓* ensure machinery is kept clean and maintained
✓Working hours 37.5 hours per week - time and half overtime
✓Mon to Thur - 7.45am to 4.15pm
✓Friday 7.45am to 2.15pm
✓Possibility of flexi time
