Upholstery Machinist
Description✓Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment is looking for an experienced upholstery machinist.
✓In this role we are looking for a particularly competent person who displays initiative, drive, attention to detail and pride in their work
✓Experience of all aspects of upholstery is preferential
✓Knowledge and proficiency within cutting, sewing, templating, prototyping is advantageous.
✓The type of furniture we produce includes bespoke furniture, recover chairs, sofas, upholstery of raw wooden frames, headboards and fixed seating of all styles.
✓We are looking for someone who will take on board bespoke works from start to finish
✓Able to work on individual projects with a confident and efficient manner
✓Communicate well with colleagues and take responsibility for ensuring good quality control throughout.
✓The working week is Monday to Friday, with overtime available on a weekly/monthly basis during busy periods.
✓Hours Monday to Thursday 7am - 4pm, Friday 7am - 2pm.
✓You will be working in a thriving environment between new bespoke furniture design and standard furniture upholstery in a high intensity environment working to satisfy our growing client base across the UK and Europe.
✓Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
✓Salary: £14.00 per hour
