Warehouse Manager
Description✓Mason James Appointments are supporting an industry leading FMCG Manufacturing Business based in Blackburn, with the recruitment of a Warehouse Manager.
✓You will be responsible for the day to day running of the Warehouse operation, managing people, processes and systems in order to ensure goods are received and dispatched efficiently and appropriately
✓Overseeing products being dispatched to all major retailers in the UK, wholesale and independent retail, export and ecommerce retail.
✓Responsibilities:
✓* Lead a team of 4 Team Leader and 40+ operatives.
✓* Management of a 100,000 sq

✓* Lead, coach and mentor a large warehouse team including operatives, drivers, supervisors, hygiene staff and administrators.
✓* Coordinate and monitor the receipting and dispatching of goods
✓* Meet productivity targets
✓* Recruitment and inductions
✓* Management of the WMS [Warehouse Management System]
✓* Contributing to continuous improvement of processes and systems
✓* Management of a driver fleet including FLT, Counterbalance, Flexi Trucks, PPTs
✓Requirements:
✓* Leadership skills and experience of leading a team
✓* High energy, engaging and adaptable
✓* Good verbal and written communication skills, relationship builder
✓* Attention to detail
✓* Ability to work calmly under pressure and to tight deadlines
✓* Understanding of LEAN methodology
✓* Experience of managing projects
✓* Awareness of health & safety standards and security
✓Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm.
