✓We are recruiting for a Warehouse Team Leader to work at our clients' business in Westfield Industrial Estate, Cumbernauld.

✓What to expect as a Warehouse Team Leader:
✓Working a Monday to Friday day shift - 7am till 4pm with a later start of 7.30am on a Friday
✓Communication through emails / teams to ensure requirements set by management team and customer services department are understood and followed to plan
✓Co-ordinating daily / weekly workloads and schedules to ensure orders are prepared and despatched on time
✓Hold morning meetings with team of up to 16 warehouse operators to communicate daily workload, targets and objectives
✓Allocate tasks, duties and responsibilities to be undertaken by team members
✓Ensure team members rotated to provide regular training / upskilling and diversity within the department
✓Oversee smooth running of department throughout the day ensuring team members are achieving maximum efficiencies in line with business standards
✓Monitor staff performance including productivity, attendance and timekeeping
✓Identify training needs or any areas of concern and address
✓Ensuring company health and safety guidance is being followed by all staff - implement or escalate dependant on required action
✓Be approachable, hands on and lead the team by example
✓Ensure all team members are following Health & Safety processes and procedures to business standards
✓Ensure all team members are following warehouse procedures and processes as per business standards
✓Optimise the warehouse capacity and space through regular and efficient housekeeping of all stock
✓What we're looking for:
✓At least five year experience team leader or supervisory experience within a warehouse, distribution or logistics environment
✓Knowledge and experience of warehouse management systems
✓Strong organisational, interpersonal and communication skills
✓A solid motivator and leader of people
