Description✓An excellent opportunity for an Experienced Wireman/Woman for Electrical Assembly to join a well-established company.

✓Salary: £24,000 - £32,000, Depending on Experience.
✓Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 08:00-16:30 Friday 08:00-13:30.
✓About the Role:
✓As a Wireman/woman and Electrical assembler, you will be working in a small and busy team, in a time pressured environment where electro-mechanical assembly of the product to the exact specification is vital and delivery on time to the customer is essential
✓In this role, you will strengthen your knowledge on building specialist testing equipment, manufacturing processes, product knowledge and will ensure the products are checked and tested thoroughly against various documentation
✓You will also provide workshop support to engineering, supply chain and areas of the company’s production activities.
✓Job Role Requirements:
✓* Perform primarily electrical wiring and electrical assembly tasks under guidance from the Production Manager as well as engineering staff, with some mechanical assembly when required.
✓* Building of new products, prototypes and special bespoke projects
✓This will involve developing manufacturing processes, wiring looms, piping routes and other standard methods for particular manufacturing requirements, in regard to specific products.
✓* Be able to read manufacturing and assembly drawings, wiring diagrams and schematics
✓The ability to understand bills of materials, manufacturing assembly and test procedures is also required.
✓* The candidate should have experience of wiring, electrical fitting and familiarity in the use of hand tools, workshop power tools, crimp tools, soldering iron, hot air gun etc
✓are essential
✓This experience should also include knowledge of identing, sleeving, soldering, crimping etc
✓as well as knowledge of component cleaning, deburring, etc
✓where necessary.
✓* Produce labelling and identification documentation of finished products, as well as assisting in the packing and shipping of company orders, when necessary.
✓* Take responsibility for personal day to day health and safety aspects of the workshop environment.
✓* Assist in the loading and unloading of courier and haulage vehicles for parts or product deliveries and shipments if and when required.
✓* Undertake some janitorial aspects of the workshop area to ensure a clean, healthy and safe working environment in the workshop
✓Candidate Requirements:
✓* Preferably time served on an apprenticeship to ONC/OND or ‘A’ level qualification in electrical engineering or related discipline, although GCSE qualified applicants with suitable experience may also be considered.
✓* A practical adeptness and logical approach to problem solving is desirable, as is a positive attitude and an interest in being part of the manufacturing process.
✓* Have the ability to work on own initiative to tight deadlines
✓Have good verbal and written English communication skills
✓Have a high attention to detail and be organised
✓Be flexible, adaptable and be willing to help out in other disciplines if the need arises.
✓* Ideally have a full UK driving licence due to our location.
✓* Computer literacy and experience using Microsoft office and email is desirable but not essential
✓Working Conditions:
✓* This is a workshop-based role with involvement with engineering, R&D and manufacturing.
✓* Travel to customer sites [UK and Overseas] and UK suppliers may be required.
✓* You may be required to work extended hours at times of high business demand.
