✓We are recruiting for a Communications Officer to increase the reach and impact of Saffron’s profile and visibility through the delivery of high value and influential communications
✓To work closely with the other members of the Communications Team and forge strong links with colleagues and external stakeholders to develop and implement communications strategies across a range of reactive and planned opportunities in print, media, events and online.
✓Key responsibilities include:
✓*
✓Create high quality written internal and external copy for different channels appropriate to different audiences.
✓*
✓Respond to media enquiries in a timely and positive way
✓Maximise coverage of Saffron’s work by identifying strong stories and produce well written press releases.
✓*
✓Stay ahead of the curve and identify emerging trends in the housing sector through horizon scanning.
✓*
✓Assist in the smooth running of digital channels and content production/delivery.
✓Our ideal candidate will have:

✓Relevant experience of working in a marketing or communications role.
✓*
✓Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment dealing with a number of changing priorities.
✓*
✓Understands the importance of confidentiality and data protection of business information.
✓*
✓Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively and confidently liaise with various audiences both in writing and verbally.
✓*
✓Excellent time management skills, including an ability to prioritise workload and meet targets.
✓*
✓Well organised and methodical with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
✓*
✓Experience of working with internal and external stakeholders to build and maintain positive relationships.

✓Able to work as part of a team and also able to work independently without the need of close supervision.
