✓The Role:
✓As the Events Manager, you will play a vital role in organizing and executing impactful events
✓Your responsibilities will include:
✓Providing on-the-day support at all Yorkshire events.
✓Taking delegated responsibility for a percentage of the charity's fundraising events.
✓Planning and assisting in the delivery of events from concept to execution.
✓Providing general administrative support to the team.
✓Gathering quotes from event suppliers.
✓Overseeing event guest information and database upkeep.
✓Creating financial documents and managing event budgets.
✓Assisting at off-site events as briefed.
✓Managing the development and delivery of events-related marketing and social media campaigns.
✓Researching and creating copy for event publications and promotional materials.
✓Coordinating volunteer recruitment and training for large events.
✓Coordinating pre-event and post-event prize coordination.
✓Providing support to Committees by organizing planning meetings and producing minutes.
✓Contributing ideas and initiatives for the growth and development of the charity.Person Specification:
✓To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualities:
✓Minimum 2 years of experience in the events industry.
✓Drive, ambition, and a strong sense of initiative.
✓A willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities.
✓A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
✓Excellent spelling and grammar.
✓Excellent customer service skills with a polite and helpful manner.
✓Effective communication skills with various stakeholders.
✓Ability to multitask and meet key deadlines.
