Marketing Analyst

The role will be based at our state-of-the-art manufacturing, distribution and office building based in West Hull.
We are looking for an experienced Marketing Analyst with an excellent and proven track record in supporting successful sales growth through robust data gathering and analysis, particularly in overseas territories.
You would be joining the company at a very exciting time in the development of the company, with ambitious plans for growth and a number of upcoming projects.

Job Description
This role’s core function will be to support sales growth through practical market analysis
The successful candidate will also take care of the day-to-day business marketing requirements, including management of the website and internal communications.
Duties include;
* Conducting research on market trends, target markets, and competitors
* Designing and implementing methods of surveying and harvesting data in target markets.
* Working closely with our Forecasting team to preparing detailed reports on customer behaviour, competitors' activities, outcomes, and sales.
* Identifying opportunities for new sales and expansion of existing accounts
* Forecasting future market, consumer, and sales trends.
* Leading on collaboration with our key partners, for example data gathering campaigns.
* Keeping abreast of the latest advancements in technology, market trends, and customer behaviour.
* Tracking and reporting on marketing progress.
* General day-to-day marketing support, including management of the website, exhibition support and internal communications.
Person specification:
* Relevant degree or equivalent qualification[s] in statistics, mathematics, marketing, business or a similar field.
* Demonstrable experience of providing sales and marketing support within a global setting.
* Good knowledge of analytical software and data harvesting methods.
* Proficient with computer programs, such as MS Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present complex data and analysis in an easy-to-understand manner.
* Familiarity with survey tools, CRM programs, and databases, in particular their use in overseas markets.
* Strong work ethic and time-management skills.
* Full driving licence and means of transport.
Desirable:
* Multi-lingual skills would be an advantage
