Marketing Assistant [communications department]
Description✓Marketing communications Assistant
✓Mon - Fri 1pm finish on Fridays
✓37 hours per week
✓Flexible working 2 days from home per week.
✓1 year FTC
✓Shorterm group are working on behalf of a client who is looking for a communications assistant that has experience in the following: Someone creative that may have worked in a marketing position previously or in PR
✓-creativity skills and ability to use Canva to create visuals this is super important for this role as will need to be able to hit the ground running.
✓- processing all the payments for money they spend on the communications budget i.e raising requests for payments
✓- references to employee engagement as that's big there right now
✓- The client would like to see examples of any posters, brochures, flyers you have created yourselves too if possible.
✓Other Key Skills to note are below:
✓* Robust organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise workloads in a busy environment
✓* Strong written and verbal communication skills
✓* Possess exceptional attention to detail and effective proof-reading skills
✓* The determination to quickly build effective relationships at all levels
✓* The confidence and experience to participate in the delivery of external events
✓* Excellent IT and administration skills
✓Qualifications and experience
✓* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Business or related field
✓* At least two years' experience in a similar role
✓Just to also note that there could be a proof-reading task as attention to detail is key but this will be a one stage interview position
