This is a great opportunity to join a small Marketing team in a varied role, reporting to the Managing Director and Sales Manager
You will be responsible for organising, planning, directing, analysing, and monitoring marketing campaigns to promote a catalogue of online resources
Managing one Executive, you will also write engaging copy and promotional activities across mailer campaigns, social media, communications, website and webinars.

Marketing Manager Responsibilities
This position will involve, but will not be limited to:
Creating, developing and executing digital marketing & communication plans to enable the business to deliver against its annual sales targets.
Writing engaging copy for promotional emails, new product launches, e-newsletters, for each of sectors.
Creating social media content.
Commissioning as well as writing your own blogs on themes to raise awareness of, for instance, importance of information, digital and media literacies.
Managing search engine optimisation, such as keyword research and backlinking to attract more visitors to our website.
Designing digital marketing collateral and product support material.
Monitoring, analysing and reporting on progress of marketing campaigns against sales data to inform new marketing approaches and opportunities.

A discretionary annual bonus is payable after the first 12 months’ employment

Marketing Manager Essentials
You will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience or equivalent in a similar role and preferably in B2B sales and marketing and/or in publishing, and a proven track record of designing and executing successful digital marketing communications strategies and campaigns
To be successful in this role you will be creative ideas person, who works collaboratively and with high accuracy.
Location
Based in Oxford with plenty of free parking [including charging points], secure bicycle parking and close to bus stops.
The standard work pattern is 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm but start/end times can be adjusted in discussion with your manager
This is an office based role, although working from home 1 day per week is open to discussion.
