We are looking for a bright and dedicated Marketing Specialist to join our talented marketing team in London
Ideally you will have competency across multiple marketing disciplines with particular experience and comfort using marketing automation platforms.
This role will see you reporting to the EMEA Marketing Manager as you take responsibility for planning, activation and reporting across webinars, email, sales collateral, offline events, video, partnerships and more
Working in a small team, this person will regularly liaise with commercial, content and product teams as well as PR, design and marketing counterparts in Mintel’s global offices.
What you will be doing
* Lead and manage the promotion and logistics of live stream events and webinars for clients and prospects, including internal and external communications, technical set-up and live support during the event and the reporting and analysis of results
* Coordinate and support the management of Mintel’s presence at key industry trade shows, conferences and client events including online and offline activations
* Create and manage email campaigns, with a view to driving acquisition, engagement and advocacy defined sectors and segments
* Support with the development of marketing collateral and sales literature such as brochures and promotional material, monitoring office supply and reordering as necessary
* Negotiate barter and paid agreements with industry partners
* Support lead management and allocation in Salesforce
* Produce ongoing reports on marketing effectiveness and ROI for distribution to marketing and sales leadership
* Work effectively and enthusiastically with PR, marketing, sales, product and research teams to translate strategic initiatives into specific campaigns
What we are looking for from you
* A self-starter with a strong desire to participate in and contribute to an entrepreneurial and commercially-focused organization
* Be an effective communicator, both written and verbal, with an ability to craft marketing messages
* An effective presenter, with the ability to lead briefing sessions with senior stakeholders and partners
* Thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple simultaneous tasks, tight deadlines and frequent high-volume periods
* Ability to work as part of a multi disciplinary team
* Ability to work well within a team, as well as the ability to work independently and take ownership of projects/tasks
* Bring a creative, critical, and analytical approach to planning sessions
* Be able to multitask, prioritise, and meet deadlines
* Have a meticulous attention to detail
* Previous full-time employment in a marketing or communications role, preferably in a B2B context
* Previous experience with Salesforce, dotmailer [or similar ESP], GoTo Webinar, Zoom, Google Docs/Sheets, Gmail and Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
* Previous event planning/coordination would be a plus
