✓£40,000 per annum, plus bonus

✓My client, a leading manufacturer in Basildon is seeking a Product Marketing Specialist to join their team on a permanent basis
✓The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the complete UK product portfolio from NPI and launch stages to all day-to-day product management.
✓Supporting the Marketing Manager, your duties will include:
✓Be hands-on across all areas of the product management role and be able to use initiative to add value to the function whilst always considering the core marketing values of the 4 Ps mix [Price, Place, Product & Promotion]
✓Work closely with the Head of Marketing to realise the Product Roadmap and manage the product introduction process across all UK product portfolio in line with the Company NPI processes
✓Work with different stakeholders in gathering information to help identify gaps and product opportunities in the market
✓To be a true product champion in the market and be able to promote the products and brand when engaging with all stakeholders both internal and external
✓Closely follow and try to anticipate developments in the market
✓Manage the complete NPI process and track all product launches by using the Microsoft Office or other Project management applications as necessary
✓Competitor price analysis [collating and maintaining up to date competitor price files and initiatives]
✓Support management of pricing policy [tactical and strategic] by product type
✓Responsible for creating and reviewing all competitor benchmarks [product and service offering]
✓Perform research and analysis of the market to identify and understand competitor and consumer trends
✓Analyse and propose price proposition and sales forecasts for all new product launches
✓Manage product phase in/out across all range evolution
✓Establish regular contact within the product group division to help support local business needs and overall understanding of product roadmap
✓Monitor and run weekly and monthly reports in SAP/BI systems across all product lines for sales, customer, product mix and margin performance
✓Produce engaging, creative and powerful MS PowerPoint presentations for various needs [and audiences] including internal meetings, customer meetings, events etc
✓Develop a sound product knowledge and be able to answer customer questions, also by taking ownership of the incoming query emails and be able to answer or direct them to the correct department [including technical questions to specialists]
✓Support sales team on key trade shows and customer meetings both within UK and Europe
✓Complete ownership on all quality of product data and information
✓Work closely with the Marketing team to develop product marketing communication plans, ensuring that all key product messages, technical product data are relevant and accurate.
✓Collaborate with internal / external stakeholders in carrying out live product demonstrations, product marketing webinars, product training and video product marketing content
✓Work with external agencies and the team to produce materials for product promotion, training and sales aids as necessary
✓Support the commercial team with product support documents, presentations, product data with key customers and key tender submissions.
✓Work with the commercial and pre-sales teams in establishing product feasibility and sales opportunities on key projects.
