✓An exciting opportunity for an experienced marketing and communications manager to join this Inspirational Youth Charity at an exciting time in their development
✓This organisation provides programmes for underrepresented beneficiaries, addressing disparity of opportunity, supporting young people, enriching society, and helping communities.
✓Working closely with the Strategic Director, the Senior Communications and Marketing Manager has responsibility for developing all the communications channels and strategy, Key communications strategy areas include creating human stories, reaching young people [13–30-year-olds] influencing the influencers, fundraising campaigns, corporate content and the digital transformation launch.
✓A mix of remote and office-based working is available [3 days in the offices] based near Lewisham.
✓The successful candidate will be a writer, a storyteller, a strategic thinker with clear digital marketing and communications experience ideally coming from the not for profit/charitable sector

✓Responsibilities include:
✓* Developing managing and delivering an effective external/internal communications programme in keeping with the charity’s mission and strategy
✓* Managing the external communications activities including overseeing relationships with external stakeholders, working in partnership with staff to support them in fulfilling their representational roles.
✓* Working effectively with Senior Leadership Team to ensure external communication activities are co-ordinated with relevant processes and project-specific communications including Fundraising, Facilities and Programmes.
✓* Delivering and implementing a communications strategy that furthers the charity’s objectives, using KPIs to measure success and areas of improvement
✓* Creating, managing and delivering messages clearly, professionally and with consistency to all audiences and supporters
✓* Creating and delivering agreed communications campaigns
✓* Building relationships within the organisation and externally to support content gathering and impact of messaging
✓* Advising and mentoring colleagues to produce quality communications within their area.
✓* Line managing direct reports and matrix managing others to deliver on communication objectives
