CAD Designer
Description✓Fantastic opportunity to join a growing organisation as a CAD Designer
✓You must have a minimum of 3 years experience, use of using Solidworks software and degree qualified in mechanical/ manufacturing engineering or a HNC qualified this is essential for the role
✓Based in Hinckley
✓Monday to Friday 8am-4.30pm
✓£27,000 per annum
✓The main purpose of this role is to produce drawings for customer approval, then progress this design into production
✓You will be responsible for creating product designs, this will involve creating 3D models and from this produce DXF files for Laser cutting machines, and Brake presses, Excel kitlist and BOMs
✓Typical work range of products can be anything from simple single unit products to multiple lidded torsion spring assisted lifting products, and intruder attack tested products to LPCB ratings.
✓Person Specification;
✓- Previous experience using Solidworks
✓- 3 years previous experience is essential
✓- Degree qualified in mechanical/ manufacturing engineering or a HNC qualified this is essential
✓- Use of Driveworks digital printing and/or Radan, Radbend Programming is desirable
✓- Excel software - Kitlists and BOM creation are used within the role
✓- Able work as a team
✓- Able to meet deadlines
