✓As the Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for creating and drafting a variety of contracts, including head contracts, addenda, buy-ins, foreign rights, novations, and reversions
✓Your adept negotiation skills will be instrumental in securing terms with diverse stakeholders, while also providing expert guidance to our clients' editors
✓You will efficiently navigate permissions and rights clearance processes, ensuring compliance and offering valuable advice when necessary.
✓Responsibilities:
✓Collaborate closely with the head of contracts to handle permission requests, conducting rights checks, negotiating terms, and managing invoicing.
✓Take the lead in managing subsidiary rights and actively seek opportunities for dramatization rights.
✓Regularly review and enhance contract processes, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
✓Maintain and create indispensable spreadsheets to facilitate seamless contract management.
✓Develop and implement streamlined procedures to optimize contract management.
✓Monitor and ensure adherence to contract procedures, including obtaining authorization from signatories.
✓Collaborate with the head of contracts in developing new contract templates as required.
✓Provide guidance and supervision to a contracts assistant, fostering their professional growth
