Credit Controller
Description✓Credit controller responsibility for specific international trade exhibitions
✓All clients are businesses and most are outside UK.
✓Job Description:
✓* Chasing clients to ensure deposit invoices for future exhibitions are paid in a timely manner.
✓* Responsible for issuing balance invoices and statements to clients.
✓* These invoices are usually issued 10 weeks before an exhibition, with payment due 6 weeks before start of show.
✓* Invoice queries – liaise with clients, sales team and administrators to resolve invoice queries.
✓Person Specification:
✓* Previous experience of credit control role, if possible, within media or publishing business
✓* Used to chasing by email, phone and letter
✓* Experience of using excel, word, outlook [or similar] and accounting software
✓* Expect person to work on own initiative, with little supervision
✓Additional Information:
✓* Temporary role
✓* Hourly rate £16.50 - £19.00
✓* Temporary role for May and June to start with, to chase on Autumn events.
✓* Usual hours are 9:00 am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday, but happy to consider someone who wants to work more flexibly or even fewer hours.
✓* There is the possibility that this will become a permanent role later in year
