Mercia Group is one of the leading providers of training and support services to the UK accountancy profession, working with over 8000 firms nationwide and they are part of the Wilmington T&E division.
As our Digital Learning Designer, you will:
* Be responsible for the design and implementation of new digital learning solutions or maintenance of existing solutions
* Be responsible for the administering of learning solutions onto LMS systems and similar
* Be responsible for production of proposals and ID documentation for individual learning solutions
* Be accountable for management and planning of your own time in line with project plans
* Work collaboratively with the product team to maximise the revenue potential of all of Mercia's products and services.
* Ensure a joined up digital strategy across the differing product areas.
* Conduct competitor analysis in the digital space and feed this into the Product Managers for consideration in their roadmaps.
* Oversee the project management of any digital learning solution implementations
* Supporting relations with software partners and vendors.
In order to be successful in this role you must have:
* Technical experience working with digital platforms, covering video [on-demand/live], content sharing, online training, and online meetings.
* Have a strong understanding of authoring tools [Articulate Storyline 360 and Articulate Rise 360]
* Solution driven
Experience in taking ideas from inception, through to launch on new platforms
* Project management with the ability to research, discuss and prioritise relevant developments and/or changes in requirement.
* Good understanding of UI/UX.
* Requirements gathering - ability to translate requirements to a solution.
* Full training will be provided in the discipline of product management but any previous experience within this sphere would be beneficial.
* Strong stakeholder management: the role will involve working collaboratively with Product Managers and other key internal stakeholders such as IT and Sales.
* Strong Project Management skills: ability to manage multiple projects.
