If you're ready to take on a pivotal role in managing the distribution and availability of ebooks and audiobooks, then this role could be for you!
As the eBook Operations Coordinator, you'll collaborate closely with the eBook Operations Manager, ensuring seamless content preparation for frontlist publication and maintaining an exceptional online presence for our ebooks
But that's not all-this role also offers the opportunity to expand into the exciting realm of audiobook distribution and development!
Your primary responsibilities will include acting as the go-to person for internal departments, swiftly resolving any issues related to ebook and audiobook distribution, availability, and metadata
You'll be the key player in identifying any gaps that may hinder successful frontlist publication and taking action to resolve them
Conducting regular audits and generating detailed reports will be crucial in monitoring availability and data accuracy, allowing you to communicate relevant statistics and issues to internal stakeholders
You'll also serve as the main point of contact for external developer support, driving positive developmental changes, tackling any issues head-on, and finding innovative solutions
Your problem-solving skills will be put to the test as you work closely with our valued partners and internal teams.
To excel in this role, you'll need a solid understanding of digital vendors, metadata, and platforms like Biblio and Coresource
You should be a proactive self-starter, capable of working independently, while knowing when to escalate matters to senior managers
Effective communication is crucial, as you'll be interacting regularly with external partners and internal stakeholders.
We're seeking someone with a keen eye for detail and the ability to identify opportunities for process improvement
Proficiency in Excel and other Office tools is a must, ensuring you can effectively manage data and drive impactful changes.
