Learning Design Manager

DescriptionWe are working on a gorgeous new role of Learning Design Manager with a very successful publisher of online course and other e-learning solutions supporting core activities of higher institutions, covering many areas including students well being and mental health, academic integrity and research best practice.
Joining the Product team, the newly created role of Learning Design Manager will be responsible for managing and training a team of learning designers and overseeing the development and delivery of new high quality digital courses
This role can be largely home-based, with 2 days a month in the London office.
Key responsibilities:
Direct management of the learning design team
Creating and managing schedules for new projects using project management software
Leading meetings with Digital and Product team to review live projects and ensure delivery dates and budgets are kept to
Oversight of product development, providing guidance on pedagogical methods and course design
Working with the Head of Product on continuous improvement as well as UX testing and processes
Liaising with suppliers to formalise service agreements and maintaining list of external vendors services and rates
Supporting with editorial tasks during key stages of product development, including bug checking, editing HTML content, and collating feedback

It will suit someone with a thorough understanding of the principles of e-learning and pedagogical approaches, strong editorial skills, and solid knowledge of product development methods.
