Description✓Media Sales Consultant | Office/Home working | Hoylake, Wirral | Monday to Friday | £25,000, depending on experience, with uncapped bonus potential

✓You must be a dynamic, highly organised experienced media salesperson with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
✓A great communicator by phone you will be able to break down barriers and secure advertising sales across our unique diverse portfolio of clients, taking great pride in our products

✓You will be office based in Hoylake, The Wirral, with 2 days of hybrid home working, with a requirement to travel to visit clients where business needs dictate and attend relevant trade and consumer events across the country.

✓Minimum of two years of media and advertising sales experience
✓Excellent verbal and written communication skills
✓An inquisitive mind
✓Research, plan and prepare top quality client calls
✓The ability to build rapport, ask questions and listen to the needs of customers
✓Provide solutions through a strong knowledge of print and online advertising
✓The ability to assist a client in creating an effective advert
✓A flexible approach, the ability to work on a variety of tasks and learn subject matter according to the nature of each commercial project
✓Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to sell the benefits of a long-term campaign approach
✓Prospect identification, pipeline creation and accurate reporting to the Commercial Director on a project-by-project basis
✓Competent in IT systems usage including client booking and CRM system, Microsoft and Google Office and able to adapt to any other job-related applications where training and support has been provided
✓What will your role look like?
✓Working closely with the Commercial Director and the wider sales team you will be tasked with delivering commercial targets on time, in print, digital and sponsorship revenue for all projects
✓You will be a methodical planner with a thorough professional approach to client relationships and development
✓You will plan and execute daily sales activity for a wide variety of projects in line with deadlines and budgets
✓You will represent both Newhall’s owned media and third-party clients to external partners in a professional and highly competent manner
✓You will ensure that all associated administration, documentation, processes, and policies are adhered to and/or completed according to the required timescales
✓You will liaise with internal colleagues and other departments in a positive and constructive manner to assist in the accurate and timely delivery of commercial projects
