Paid Media Manager

✓recruitment for Higher Education Institutions, working with over 30 universities across the UK and

✓The role:
✓- Supporting the wider team with technical best practice and leading on challenging clients
✓- Building campaigns from scratch on all in-house marketing platforms [Google Ads, Facebook
✓Ads etc.] to align with the corresponding media plans
✓- Supervising your direct reports’ campaigns and giving regular feedback and guidance on best
✓practice
✓- Monitoring, optimising and analysing campaigns as well as giving actionable
✓recommendations for improvements both mid-flight and after the campaigns have ended
✓- Implementing conversion tracking across clients’ websites using Google Tag Manager to
✓measure the success of the campaigns
✓- Configuring Google Analytics 4 accounts according to best practice, including goal/event
✓tracking
✓- Leading client calls/meetings to give feedback, discuss strategy and deliver
✓recommendations
✓- Researching and introducing new and innovative channels and solutions for clients
✓- Contributing to the evolution of our internal processes in the Paid Media team
✓- Line management of Paid Media Managers including conducting regular 1-2-1s, providing
✓advice and support and setting performance goals
✓- Participating in internal team and company-wide meetings

✓- You have 3+ years experience in Digital Marketing with a passion for technical best practice.
✓- In-depth knowledge and experience with managing PPC campaigns on Google Ads and
✓Microsoft Advertising with an active Google Ads Search Certification
✓- In-depth knowledge and experience with paid social campaigns on Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads,
✓TikTok Ads Manager, YouTube.
✓- In-depth knowledge and experience with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager with an
✓active Google Analytics Individual Qualification
✓- Previous accountability for annual media spend exceeding £500,000
✓- Experience with mentoring/training junior team members
✓- Excellent communication skills, comfortable presenting/pitching to clients, colleagues and
✓large groups
✓- Numerate and very organised with excellent attention to detail
✓- Ability to use MS Office to a professional standard
✓- An eye for creative design [desired]
