Social Media Executive

DescriptionLloyd Recruitment Services are pleased to be working with a leading business based in the East Grinstead area who are in search of a Social Media Executive to join the team on a full-time permanent basis.
Responsibilities:
Day-to-day handling of all social media channels such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, adapting content to suit different channels and audiences
Input into content ideation and strategy for channels, campaigns, and product coverage
Using your knowledge of social media to help execute new ideas to support business needs and collaborating with external partners and agencies to bring them to life
Monitor user engagement and feedback on posts whilst analysing and reporting the effects on follower numbers, awareness, and content generation/opportunities
Be the first point of contact - and escalation - with the Customer Service agents to ensure that all outbound campaigns and initiatives are discussed and shared in a timely manner, ensuring that members and non-members alike are given the most up-to-date and informative content and moderated responses
Support the delivery of highly engaging new virtual and hybrid events in collaboration with the wider Events team
Keep up to date with current social trends, reporting key insights to the wider team where relevant to strategies
Stay on top of updates to Social Media platforms, and how to best use changes to enhance content
Essential Skills & Experience Required:
Experience in a social media marketing or content role
A strong understanding of Social Media and the role it plays in a business
Case studies of previous experience using platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter to help drive brand awareness
Strong creative copywriting skills
Good knowledge of Brandwatch, or similar social media management tools
Able to use own initiative and work as a member of a team to achieve the overall social media objectives
Good organisational skills
Ability to multitask
Clear communicator; confident curating content, giving briefs and engaging teams
Solid understanding of the role of paid social and how paid and organic work together
Proficient in Google Suite
Experience using Canva, Photoshop and Premiere Pro is an advantage
Desirable Skills:
Video and photo editing production experience
Working knowledge of Google Analytics and social monitoring tools
Relevant professional qualification
