JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
To join their international translation department, they wish to recruit a Translation & Languages Quality Assurance [QA] Coordinator
You will be working as part of a friendly team that work on large and complex translation projects
The role will mostly be to provide full support to the Vendor and QA Manager to ensure the smooth running of the quality assurance team
To complete a series of quality assurance jobs efficiently and to the highest quality standards in our industry
Ensuring all Quality Assurance processes are adhered to.
Your role will typically include the following duties and responsibilities:
* Performing QA jobs in line with daily priorities and achieve target dates stipulated by the Operations Team
* Liaise with internal team members for the successful resolution of queries when required
* Liaise with suppliers when required
* Ensure that each project is appropriately monitored
* Ensure procedures, quality controls and file management strategies are continually adhered to.
* Assisting with the development and maintenance of the Quality Assurance [QAs] processes and procedures in line with company growth
* Assist with CAPA [Corrective and Preventative Actions] investigations.
* Effective use of MemoQ and Portico.
CANDIDATE EXPERIENCE / SKILLS
* Fluent English is essential
Knowledge of another language is an advantage but not essential
* Educated to degree level - a translation or languages degree preferred
* Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal, with strong numeric and analytical skills
* Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure in order to prioritise workload and meet client deadlines
* Ability to take responsibility and ownership and use initiative
* Excellent attention to detail
* Enthusiasm and inclination to learn and develop professionally
* Willingness to share expertise
* Proven ability to motivate colleagues and promote positivity within the team
* Highly motivated, with demonstrated problem solving and organisational skills
* Candidates must be flexible and adaptable enough to be able to work in a variety of roles in a rapidly changing environment.
SALARY, WORKING HOURS & BENEFITS
£22,000 - £24,000.
