✓Our NW based chemical client is currently recruiting for a Shift Analytical QC Chemist
✓Joining an existing analytical team, the successful candidate will be using a range of analytical and wet chemistry techniques to analyse a range of raw materials and chemical finished products.
✓This is a hands on position and will involve working on a shift pattern – using techniques such as ICP, FTIR, titrations and others, providing timely and accurate analytical results.
✓Additional duties will include :

✓- Ensuring all quality and H&S standards are followed and maintained
✓- Liaising with other onsite technical teams
✓- Instrument calibration and trouble shooting Applications are invited from candidates with a HNC, BSc in Chemistry [or related subject], together with previous suitable hands-on skills and experience using ICP and other analytical techniques to test chemical sample matrices.
✓Note – this role will require working on a shift pattern, including earlies, days and nights + possible weekend work – Own transportation would therefore be beneficial.
✓This is a permanent position, offering a salary of up to £30,000 [including shift allowance]
