Band 6 Microbiology/ Virology BMS
Description✓Hunter Gatherer AHP has a fantastic oppurtunity for an experienced Biomedical Scientist with a background in Microbiology and Virology to join a busy NHS hospital based in the West Midlands. Please note that for this role you must have at least 6 months UK experience within a laboratory.
✓Mon - Sun 9-5 and occasional 12-8 [Mon-Fri] 8-4 [sat/sun]
✓Microbiology
✓Band 6
✓3 Month contract, with the possibility of extension
✓ASAP start
✓Hourly rates between £20-£25 per hour
✓Scotland Based
✓Requirements:
✓Rotate through all component sections of the laboratory including General Bacteriology, specialist Containment Level 3 Facilities, Mycology, Virology, Environmental and Parasitology.
✓The role includes some weekend, bank holiday and evening duties on a rotational basis
✓The post holder is required to have a flexible approach to ensure the service is maintained safely.
✓About the Individual:
✓Current HCPC Registration
✓IBMS Accredited Degree
✓6 months UK lab experience
✓Evidence of a Continuing Personal Development Programme
