Care Assistant - St Modans
Description✓Our Meallmore team at St Modans are ready to warmly welcome you as a Care Assistant within their care home
✓St Modans is a purpose-built nursing home in Fraserburgh, providing high quality personalised care for elderly people, including those living with dementia
✓It also has a separate specialist unit for people with acquired brain injuries.
✓Our mentorship programme and ongoing learning and development will give you all the support you need to develop your skills and progress in your career whether that be as a Senior Care Assistant or a Senior Care Practitioner, the choice is yours!
✓If you’re not already working as a care assistant, you will be required to register to the SSSC [Scottish Social Services Council], Meallmore will support you with this process.
✓Your role as a Meallmore Care Assistant will include:
✓· To promote/provide a high quality of care and support in accordance with Individual care/support plans.
✓· To assist in creating wellbeing within a caring environment and be involved in the general activities of the home.
✓· To adhere to Meallmore Standards, Policies and Procedures, National Care Standards.
✓· To work in line with the SSSC codes of Practice.
✓· Collaborate with care staff in your department and wider teams.
✓· Carry out personal care duties.
✓Desirable skills:
✓· Working towards the qualification to meet SSSC registration requirements.
✓· SVQ level 2 or above/equivalent in Health and Social Care [as per SSSC guidelines] is desirable.
✓· Communication and repour building skills.
✓· Kind caring nature.
