✓My client are a spectacular nursing home, allowing their elderly residents with dementia to continue with an independent lifestyle within a living atmosphere that is comfortable and caring
✓They are now on the hunt for compassionate and experienced Care Assistants to join their team on a permanent full time days contract.
✓As a Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to their elderly residents with dementia and physical disabilities, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
✓Responsibilities as a Care Assistant:
✓* Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
✓* Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
✓* Help maintain a clean and safe living environment for residents
✓* Report any changes in residents' conditions to Senior staff
✓* Participate in team meetings and training sessions as required
✓Requirements as a Care Assistant:
✓* Previous experience as a Care Assistant or similar role desired
✓* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
✓* Ability to work well in a team
✓* Patience, understanding and compassion
✓* Must be flexible to work any day/night of the week, including weekends
